After 10 days cycling (about 70km a day) and camping we arrived at Stephen's (a cycling friend) in London and were allowed to have our first shower. We had great weather during our trip and were able to find very nice places to camp. We cycled from The Netherlands to Antwerpen, Gent and Brugge in Belgium. Then along the coast to Calais. There we wanted to take the ferry to Dover. But because of the ash cloud and the plane problem the prices were double as high as normal (min. 50 Euro p.p.). We decided to wait a few days and cycled to Boulogne. There we were able to find very cheap tickets (17,50 Euro p.p.). From Dover we first cycled to Canterbury and then to London. Our legs were a bit tired of the first English hills, we still have get used to them. After a few days resting we will leave London and cycle to the west.
