The Dachstein (the highest mountain in the region) is the most impressive and beautiful mountain I have ever seen so far. It's a gigantic massive and it gives me a feeling of untouched nature. (Although there are some lifts and too many people for having the feeling of untouched nature.) The view is fantastic. It's a big plateau with a glacier which you can cross. That's what I did with some friends. We took the cabin lift up and from there we skied to Obertraun.

We did tour 1.
My friends Heinz and Sonja.
Amazing rocks and peaks up there.
The view when you stand on the plateau and look down towards the valley.
The Dachstein peak.
Heading towards Obertraun.
Beautiful clouds.
Me.
The huskies we met on our way down.
If you wonder what Peter is doing: He is cycling for three weeks with a friend. We will meet in a few days in Utrecht (yes I'm going to NL again!) and at last start our bike journey. First we will head North to England and Ireland. I will keep you updated about our trip via this blog. That's why you should check it regularly!
